At Smooved and HouseMatch, we're on a mission to transform the way brokers connect with potential home sellers. We aim to showcase their expertise online, build trust and ambassadorship, and effortlessly guide new clients to them.
We believe that brokers who do a good job, should be able to focus on just that: 'if you're a pro, we make sure home owners know'.
Our credentials?
With a team of close to 30 people, we guide 1 out of every 5 monthly real estate transactions in the country. HouseMatch generates twice as many reviews for our customers each month compared to the reviews received by ALL Belgian real estate brokers on Google!
What you will do:
- In essence, youâll do lots of problem solving and critical thinking. We guide 1 out of 5 real estate transactions in the country. We believe we do a great job, but weâre coordinating with lots of third parties: from utility suppliers to grid operators. In a small fraction of cases, stuff goes wrong - and in the difficult cases, it not always immediately clear why. Your job is to understand the context of each problem case, untangle it and get to a solution with all relevant parties. That means coordinating with movers, brokers, suppliers, grid operators and also relaying with our own Sales team
- Youâre not only focused on getting a solution, but you also keep in mind the path towards it and how the customer is experiencing that. âJob doneâ is not just providing a solution, but making sure that you communicate abundantly, give updates, provide timelines to solution etc
- You add empathy and commercial feeling to action. We give you lots and lots of training and will make you an expert on a wide range of topics, but despite all those knowledge dumps, there really is only one question you need to keep in mind when providing the final solution: âis this customer happy, and will he keep using our services?â. If the answer is not yet âHELL YESâ, you keep grinding
- You will grow a clear understanding of the real estate broker's goals, needs, expectations, and preferences continuously and feel comfortable with sharing your expertise with the rest of the team - especially the Sales team (Account Managers)

Your direct team members:
One of the biggest benefits of being a scale-up, is that you actively get to choose the people you work with every day. We want to give a bit of that to you as well. The Operations team consists of 4 sub-teams:
- Commercial Advisory: advise movers via phone to optimize their moving administration
- Revenue Enablement: make sure all contracts are properly booked with Utility suppliers (note: these colleagues are located across the globe!)
- First-line Customer Success: offer solutions to high-volume questions from movers and brokers that can be solved without further coordination or escalation - done via mail and chat
- Second-line Customer Success: offer solutions to low-volume, high-difficulty questions that require further research and coordination with multiple parties
Youâll be part of our very own elite âSWATâ team of Second-line Customer Success, handling all difficult cases one by one. You will do this primarily via mail, but your commercial acumen tells you when itâs time to pick up the phone - to brokers, movers, our own Account Managers etc.
